Max planned his surprise proposal to Yoelle at St. Theodoroi Lighthouse in Kefalonia, one of the island’s best-known coastal landmarks.
The location worked perfectly for the kind of moment he had in mind: open sea views, soft evening light and enough space for everything to feel relaxed and private despite its popularity.
To keep the proposal natural, I stayed at a distance and let the moment happen uninterrupted. When Max revealed the ring, Yoelle’s reaction arrived instantly: surprise, disbelief, laughter and emotion all at once.

Afterwards, we stayed around the lighthouse for a short engagement session while the sun dropped lower over the sea. Nothing overly directed, just a few quiet moments together in the place where the day changed for them.
